Amazing come-back for Hutchinson.
 
They don't seem to be running that fast in those corners.. I might be wrong, though the crash in 3:10 of the Race highlights kinda confirms it.

Corsara is right. They're not pushing as hard as they would on a FIM approved circuit. Those guys might be crazy bastards but they're not suicidal. haha...
 
I've actually been to Macau during the Macau Grand Prix. I only saw the touring cars though, and not the bikes. The circuit is really narrow at some points (you can tell by the video) to the point where for cars, if you don't apex properly, you actually have to 3 point turn to get around it.

There was a vanity series run that weekend. It was mostly Ferraris, Porsches and Lambos owned by rich Hong Kong citizens. Because of that narrow apex and the apparent amateur nature of the drivers, they only managed to run 5 minutes out of the allocated 30. One car would get stuck, and everyone would line up in queue behind it, then a couple would get by, then another would get stuck. Rinse and repeat.

If I remember correctly, it was always mostly the lambos that got into trouble.

I was just gonna write something along those same lines. E.g., if there was a race track with exactly the same configuration but with proper run-off space, these guys will probably be taking the corners much faster. Don't get me wrong, they ARE flying as it is, and are pretty insane probably more than even TT.
 
this is nuts...

I might have to echo Spies' sentiments regarding IOMTT...would you or your kid race this? lol
