I've actually been to Macau during the Macau Grand Prix. I only saw the touring cars though, and not the bikes. The circuit is really narrow at some points (you can tell by the video) to the point where for cars, if you don't apex properly, you actually have to 3 point turn to get around it.
There was a vanity series run that weekend. It was mostly Ferraris, Porsches and Lambos owned by rich Hong Kong citizens. Because of that narrow apex and the apparent amateur nature of the drivers, they only managed to run 5 minutes out of the allocated 30. One car would get stuck, and everyone would line up in queue behind it, then a couple would get by, then another would get stuck. Rinse and repeat.
If I remember correctly, it was always mostly the lambos that got into trouble.
