M2 Exit Course- 2 Wheels needed in Oakville

Hey,

I've got till the end of August to finish my M2 Exit course before the licence expires.

But I've been delaying the inevitable and I've got to take the M2 Exit course at Sheridan in Oakville.

The only challenge is that I need a motorcycle!!
In which I don't want to rent one at this time from GTA Exotics, cause of their prices combined with the course is a little steep.

Here is my question: Anybody willing to lend me their motorcycle for 8 hours on the Saturday and 1 hour on the Sunday here in Oakville?

I'm 6'2" and need something like the KLR 650 size. No worries, I'm not a hot dogger, and I'm in my mid 40's and have a family that still needs me.

I would be willing to pay anywhere between $150-200 for the much appreciated use of both days

I'll be signing up for the course once I know I've got a bike secured.

Thanks to all.

Rick

What have you been riding the last few years?

Currently nothing, but I've been riding on and off for many years. My brother in law, lets me ride his Ultra Glide when he's around, but he moved to Montreal. I've been on all the demo ride days with Harley, Yamaha, and a number of other rides over the years.
Great opportunity. Now that I know what I won't be buying in the future.

I don't want to rain on your parade but hasn't it been said here that a dropped bike costs $2,000 to repair? Won't your $200 be just 10% of that amount if you drop that bike during the exit exam?

The bike won't be dropped, guaranteed. I will pay for the damages, and look into getting temp coverage on my insurance anyways.
I'm willing to show you my skills in a open parking lot before you make the decision. If you feel I'm a risk, just say no and I won't be offended.

I'm a very defensive rider, and aware of everything around me, and not one of those riders frozen in fear.
Like some of those Zombie first time riders, that you can spot on the road.

Depending on the bike, I'm willing to pay more. If this is your only ride, I'm willing to lend you my car for the weekend as well. 96 Maxima.
So hows that for trust.

I'm not asking for a mint condition bike. I'll go back as far as the 90's to find a ride, anything in the 250cc to 1000 cc. In good safe working condition. No crotch rockets please.

The 8 hr Saturday program is within a closed course located in the parking lot of Sheridan college, with occasional group riding on the streets of Oakville. The only time the bike is alone is the final test on the Sunday for 1 hour.

Any recent graduates of the M2 exit course would be appreciated to confirm or deny my statement.
