M1 RIDERS......are you tempted?????

I may have "considered" riding at night, repeatedly. Didn't really "consider" 401 though.

Even though it would be risking a suspension have you "considered-repeat considered" hopping on a 400 series highway for a few kms or stretching your riding day a little beyond 30 min before dusk/sunset???

My girlfriend is in a hospital in Guelph for two more months.

On monday, I "considered" taking the 401.

and last week I considered riding to buy smokes at the corner store around midnight.

save your breath telling me its a bad idea to consider this blah, blah, blah...i know.

anyone else "considered" doing this before getting your m2

Honestly, not really. As I have my skates to go anywhere and I can wait to get the M2 upgrade to hop on the 400 series.

But I'm secretly dying to ride on one of those...

As long as you don't cause an accident and you have a full G licence, I wonder how many cops really care if you break those rules (evenings/400 series)? I'm sure they'd come down pretty hard on a 16 year old with just an M1, but if you're in your mid 30's or older, would they really care?

To answer your question, I haven't "considered" riding at night, but have "considered" a 400 series.

*Edit* Almost forgot, hope your girl gets better with whatever is wrong with her. A couple months in the hospital is a long time.
 
I have seen a few "pulled over with my M1 at night" posts in the legal section so it does happen. The risk of it happening might be small, but if you are one of the lucky ones you are so screwed.
 
I might have considered a trip into the states with an M1. I might have gotten pulled over in virginia. At night. On an interstate.
The cop might not have known about the motorcycle license restriction and I might have gotten off with just a warning to slow down.

M1 restrictions only apply in Canada.

I have considered riding at night yesterday but i was like its not worth it to get my license suspended when i have 10 days left to get m2. but i did take a passenger a couple of times during the day didnt speed up so i wont get pulled over plus i was riding downtown so cant speed as much with all the cars and lights lol

Well, u have considered taking a passenger. U sounded like u really did it. How is it even possible. U r just a m1 after all lol!
 
ya i did it 3 times lol. i know im m1 but i rode where i knew there wont be much cops and if im not speeding up i wont get pulled over at all. Cops dont pull u over during the day if u r not speeding up or lane splitting during rush hour. it was all good but i want that m2 soon i wanna ride at night with a passenger its fun lol

Well, I still might have left from ontario in the nighttime. And taken the 403 to rainbow bridge. So I might have been driving on the qew/403 at night.

How the hell did you fit you and a 2up on a CBR125R?
 
city riding and not speeding up plus light passenger so it was good and fun. but will definitely need a bigger bike soon because I'm outgrowing the 125 lol
