80Km/h Highway speeds?

Thanks everyone I'll be riding today and I have a 40 min ride to Lindsay tomorrow morning! I have a friend that did her G there and said yes because there isn't a highway close the highway part is in the 80 lol should be easy! We'll see!

Make sure you look over what an emergency road side stop is and remember to look for pedestrians when you make right turns at an intersection.

Each time you stop remember to complete a full traffic check, ( left shoulder check, right should check, check mirrors, check cross traffic if applicable) I did mine on the weekend ( and passed ), and that is what they are looking for. Go slow, and don't rush you have all the time in the world. They are also looking for traffic scanning while driving, every 10 seconds or so. ( simple mirror check and forward scan moving you head). If you stop for someone in a line at a stop sign complete the full traffic check, then when the person ahead goes, move forward and full traffic check again when you stop. If people fail its normally due to not enough looking around. If you see things that may be a hazard, give them a double look, the testers have things along the way that they are wanting riders to identify.

quick question, since for most sportbikes the speedometer shows 10 percent below the speed limit, what do you do in this situation ? do you guys go a little above the speed shown ?

I always follow what my speedometer says that way you don't get yourself into trouble.

Ride with traffic. If you are slower or faster than general traffic, you are a potential risk/danger.

Can't do a road test with a dead battery!! Luckily my husband has the same make and model as myself so I have now stolen his battery for tomorrow morning lol.

Passed!! Examiner in Lindsay was amazing! And it's now the law that if your en examiner you have to have the license you're testing for so all examiners should be riders themselves!

I was riding at speed limit (50 in a 50) tester gave me warning told me to speed up so I tacked 10% on to my indicated speeds. You gotta move you're head constantly mirrors side to side ahead back.. I put an "X" with contrasting tape on my helmet to help them distinguish the movement. They said they appreciated that.

I got dinged for merging onto the highway too slow. You should pin the throttle down to show them how fast you can do 10km/h to 100km/h!
