low fuel light kit?

I'd like to get a good look at the inside of a newer fuel tank for bike or car even, i bet a handy guy like you could rig something up using the existing system and modifying it.
The key would be knowing which company makes the smallest units, and of course, figuring out how to adapt it.

Well looks like IMS and Acerbis both make 2012 tanks that double the capacity...So I will be ordering one, maybe after I get it I'll cut my OEM tank in half so you can see the inside...LOL. Seriously thou Im sure a float sensor can be added to the tank fairly easily, I was just hoping for a kit to simplify it. A tank with double capacity in a natural color where I can see the fuel level will do for now...

THey are just a switch that closes when the level falls . about 4 inches long ..

I imagine there are stocking distributors around , but i don''t really have a clue . I think they are a common in industrial applications ..
