wondering what people use to look deep in a gas tank for rust or no rust. its not too difficult to see the tank near the filler neck, but I would like to check deeper and wider for rust.
does anyone know of a tool for this?
some mention led lighting - I assume they all have lighting. and there's a huge selection and prices available. enough to keep me busy looking for awhile. if anyone has experience using these for tank viewing please let me know what you would look for. thx
jeez amazon has everything.
I have a couple micro USB endoscopes. Unfortunately my current phones are USB c. They are what you'd expect. Dimmer only works on one of them, image quality is meh (but a hell of a lot better than nothing). Proper ridgid endoscope is better in every way except for the 5/8" head which doesnt fit into a lot of places.
The canadiantire unit works well but I bought the cheaper one. Needs a computer. I also have the super cheap chines one works off android or laptop. $10. Try this
