If most National and AMA riders dont overheat the DOT spec tires they run on i think i'll probably be good for next SOAR roundEverything i've read suggests they're basically the same as the slicks they just have tread, which makes them DOT legal. DOT has nothing to do with tire compound or intended use, just tread.
Yup, slicks and DOT race tires are very similar in their construction and compounds.
