It's actually because women are more versatile at approaching. It's easier for a female to approach a guy or a girl, than it is for a guy to approach both. Women also genuinely smile more and are seen as less intimidating.
It's especially the case in model scouting. It's not creepy if a chick approaches a guy or girl and asks for their contact information. But people will be more skeptical if a guy does it (if he's good-looking, she'll give it just 'cause he's good looking. If he's not good-looking, she'll think it's creepy). It's all just human psychology, really. I mean, look at the beginning of this thread...
But it's not entirely wrong. Women do consume a lot more yogurt than men and it's especially the case with the whole priobiotic, low fat, low calories, low sugars, extra healthy, etc. craze going around. It's not to say that men don't eat yogurt - just that you gotta use the demographics and play the numbers.
