Sorry I like my gps better.... you can change the colours of the background and the colours of the txt. Put it anywhere on your bike you like and it doesnt affect your balance or create any drag. Best part is you can get a couple hundred of them for $2.... oooh and the mounting system.... AWESOME.... 2 seconds to install :D

oooh forgot to mention... for you green folks? Its recycable AND it uses NO power... yep you read that right..... NO POWER :D
 
Peggy? I'm a male if you haven't noticed. I like big gadgets, but most people here like those matchbox-like tiny Garmin GPS's, they SUCK. How can you navigate with those tiny things? Did you know that Garmin customers cannot download maps, they have to buy another GPS with an extra serial numer which is the exact same thing as their old Garmins but with updated maps.

Actually its hard to tell the sex of a horse specially a side view like you got as your profile pic. And some people can read the smaller text so they don't need the massive screens of the bigger GPS.

odd, the entire point behind the life time updates is downloading maps. you can also buy new maps at anytime. I've also uploaded plenty of custom maps to my garmin, as for looking at it, well i don't look at it while riding, i look at what's around me and follow the audio prompts, but when i've glanced at it i've had no problems seeing the info in need to see and the gps doesn't block the road view. Peggy, I think you've been drinking the tom tom kool-aid.

If your eyesight isn't good enough to navigate with a 4.3" GPS peggy, you shouldn't be riding.

Well idk much about unicorns but I dont see any junk in the pic.... I just see a unicorn on a pretty blue background. OOOOOOHHHH I get it.... we are supposed to know your male by the BLUE BACKGROUND!!!! AHAH!!! I've solved it!

hold on cat, Unicorns have a protruding horn, I don't see a protrusion, this horse of peggy's has wings like my pads.

Gotta say, Trackback, bluetooth to scala, mapsource to build routes using your tracks,
waterproof is a win. Those bells and whistles is what makes the gps worthwhile on the bike.

Otherwise a $50 insignia gps is the same as $200 nuvi.
 
The vibration caused the internal battery to come lose, short out and shoot 5" flames out the back of it. Nokia replaced it under warranty =) Thing I like most: Text messages to my phone show up on the GPS nice and big. Good for those group rides that riders go down on! Caller ID shows up too and you can "tap to talk" for your bluetooth headset.
