Strangely enough, we have just ridden through there. It isn't bad, we stayed the previous night in Austin.
That is practically a ghost town, never saw so many bars in such a short Main Street.
Then you hit Ely, and the City lights......
Maybe it was lonely at one time, but now, after the National Geographic thing, loads of people use it, to get the Rt 50 Badge & Certificate.
Actually the ET highway & Great Smokey Valley have less traffic.
