Lights for a Yamaha V Star 950 Tourer

I would like to add some bright LED day time running lights making my V Star 950 Tourer more visible during the day, and a better rear lighting package to make me more visible at night.

Any suggestions?

For the rear get the Kuryakyn run turn brake controller (part number 4612). Depending on your wiring you may have to move two wires to match your wiring harness but if not it's a simple plug and play switch that takes about 15 minutes including changing the turn signal lenses to red ones. Here's where I got mine from.

PS: You will have to buy the red lenses separately.

You could add a front light bar. Consider getting yellow instead of white, as it is uncommon and may be noticed more than standard white. Non-symmetrical lights, like the BMWs, might also be noticed more, as they look "out of place".
