LF someone to do memory foam in my 2018 Goldwing seat

Stock seat on the 2018 sucks...very firm foam...looking for someone in Southern Ont that can change out stock foam /add memory foam...could ship to several places in USA but with shipping stock seat down and back and exchange is about $1k...
 
I had my Ducati Multistrada seat reworked with the addition of some foam this summer by a guy just south of Peterborough. He's very well regarded for motorcycle seats and he only charged me $40 for the work and it was done in 2 days (pulled/reused stock cover, HD foam to reshape). I'm located close by him if you want to see how mine turned out before dropping off yours.

40$ sounds about right... I was looking for a shop last year to have custom covers put on a set of driver/passenger seats for my '15 MTS. Found a guy in Georgetown that said he would do the job for 70$. After a few emails, he suddenly put the price to 140$. He said that he thought (originally) that I only wanted one seat done. I was quite clear to him (have the email as proof), that I wanted both seats recovered. I didn't want the hassle of an argument, so I told him that I was no longer interested.

So..... I decided to tackle the job myself. Bought a pneumatic staple gun and went to it. Super easy job! The only thing I didn't do, was to shape a piece of foam. Used the existing foam. As I use an Airhawk seat pad (never ride without it), there is no need for additional seat foam.

So yeah... any more than 40-50$ is too much considering how easy the job is.

spoke to Doug near Peterborough...while he is close to me he seemed a bit concerned about working around the heating elements in a 2018 Wing so I spoke with George at ED seats in Markham...going to call Chicago and find out where he is located..

While you’re there, do you mind doing me a favour? Can you ask him if he can re-work a passenger seat on an Aprilia Tuono so it’s got some memory foam or something in it? Basically, can he make it a lot more comfortable?

he said he can do new foam that will improve it..give him a call
