I'm 6'4 and have been riding with jackets that are annoyingly short for the 10 years I've been riding street. I just bought a Joe rocket pheonix 11.0 mesh jacket in tall, and I love it. I'm looking to replace my leather alpinestars jacket. What are my options for quality leather jackets that come in tall sizes?

I'm 6'5. Have been putting up with poorly fitting leather jackets for years. For my next jacket I already know that I'll be getting one made to measure from Jimmy at Velocity. Stopped by his shop for the first time a couple of weeks ago to buy gloves as part of the group buy. I was really impressed by the quality of his jackets and more so because the jackets are custom made to fit your measurements. Resonably price for the premium jackets, $500 for leather and $800 for kangaroo.

Looking through Royal Distributing catalog and see maybe 4 leather jackets and about 40 textile. What happened to leather?
There are three textile jackets having Tall sizes and no leather is Tall.

Lemme know if you figure it out, I've been stuck with jackets that are too small or too loose. Even the tall sizes that are available seem to be made for gentlemen with a lot more mass than me. Punchline: Coulda had something custom from Jimmy for what I bought my Speedmaster 2 piece for.

get a jacket to cover my arms fully and its too big/wide and fits very loose. get it right fit then the arms are too small. got a custom fitted jacket from Velocity and all is good.

Stop wasting your money on things that "may" fit. Get it done right and you'll have a great investment.

Jennifer at I+M Leathers is continuing her dad Ivan's tradition since his passing this spring. They've been making leathers in their shop for almost 40 years. They've outfitted champions like Szoke and racers like Kevin Graham, John Parker and a number of americans too. They've made me 2 suits of which, I crashed on the first one quite a bit with no failures. Their seams are all "rolled" which is a layer of leather over every seam, the proper way not like the cheap stuff that tears if you look at it wrong. My latest set is a zip together 2 piece with full armour including a back protector and a speed hump also which they will do for $800 and it is custom made for your size. They can put as many pockets wherever you want, extra vents etc, The suit is made in the colour scheme you specify or give them a drawing. There's no limits to I+M Leathers and I'll always buy their products. They alter whatever you want, so bring them whatever you like. They are at 257 King St W, Hamilton 905-525-7121.
Check out Fox Creek Leather too. I bought a regular jacket from them this spring and the quality is superb. They have long versions. They have great service too....got back to me same day with sizing questions and I know they're great with exchanges if sizing is off.
