hi there peeps,

has anyone gone to this? any thoughts, feedback etc etc?!

learning curves offer a free streetproofing course (3hr course) to m1-m2 learning curves graduates. it cost about 100$ (?!) or so if you're not a graduate (i could be wrong or maybe it could have changed).

anyhow, i was just wondering.

:)

What is it? Don't talk to strangers on motorcycles?

Its $50 and call the office. Basically a group ride with a couple instructors in the mix, great if you haven't been out on the street a lot and want some pointers.

It's good for new riders who want to know about group riding etiquette and how not to be a douch3 while riding on the streets, vest discussion not included.

We also spend a little while doing some parking lot drills (on your own bike) as a refresher of some of the skills taught in the course.

I thought this was free?

I went to one but i can't remember if it was street proofing or something else.

Its essentially a group ride with past students and instructors.

It is free for graduates of Learning Curves. There is a cost for people who have not been part of our classes before.

Also if you are a past student, you should have been or are going to be, contacted to attend one if you like. Its all voluntary.

Hey Cat,

Are they going to contact all students?

got my notice yesterday, look forward to seeing past instructors and maybe meet some people from the class... the old where are they now? thing. may learn something too.

thanks for the replies.

i was curious to hear to what it actually entails from people who have gone or/are part of this course. i'm just trying to sort my sched so i can sign up with this. got the email and form the other day.

is there a specific route the instructors take for this course?
