Coming from a country where voting is pretty much done for you, I vote every single time, never once missed a vote on any government level. It is a matter of a principal.
The problem is that I started to get sick of it now, federal elections that is. Knowing that the few hundred millions cost of an election is coming out of my pocket makes it worse.

Random things I've come across in my travels:
For some reason I needed to google Albino People, this is what happened

Random men's room urinal, it was rather odd in my books
I **** you not, these statues were in the airport gift shop in Fiji. I asked
the native girl who worked there WTF was up with them, she got
embarrassed and said they were very popular with the tourists but didn't
have any cultural meaning. Had to snap a photo because nobody would
have believed me otherwise.
In case you're wondering "Bula" (see the bottom of the statues) is the Fijian word for Hello.
