I mean it wasn't the worst race of the season. I stayed awake the whole time! The layout sucks, but the grid found places to race in spite of that. Plenty of flashing lights to captivate your toddler children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews. Drivers were mildly complaining about grip but there were fewer than average cars running off the track, so I don't know if a better surface would have actually improved the race or not. The Rolls-Royce convoy to the post-race Bellagio interview was a bit too much.

It wasn't so much the trip (that was stupid in it's own right), but the scene when they got there. "Oh, they're here. Someone turn the fountain on." It was like the place was closed for renovations.
