KW Sport Racing OFFICIAL TRACK DAY THREAD

2021 Season Update

We are currently looking at hosting the first trackday on June 14. Due to the lockdowns, the May 8,17,31 and June 7 trackdays had to be cancelled. Those with pre-season bookings are now being processed and will have priority registration. This will be completed over the weekend and we expect the single day registrations to open on June 1.

Unfortunately, we are not able to host our traditional BBQ lunch; it's too early and too big a risk at this point in the season with the tracks likely under heavy watch. We are also working on contactless check-ins with QR code, virtual riders meeting with quiz and other procedures to make sure we can demonstrate that tracks can safely operate with the current Covid landscape.

Step 1 should be June 14th. Some tracks have been running car trackdays since May 21st.

For the Aug 23 KSR Trackday (Alien Layout), KSR will be donating 100% of gate registrations to the Grass Family. Mike Grass is a passionate racer, father and member of the SOAR family. This past weekend, he suffered serious injuries while competing in the Pro 600 race in the CSBK series. We hope these funds raised will help his family through this difficult time and we ask that you keep Mike and his family in your hearts and prayers. If you wish to make a donation, you can do so at the link below.

KSR would like to thank everyone that came out on the Aug 23 trackday. As you know, we are donating all funds from gate registration to Mike Grass’ family which accumulated to $2700. On top of this, we would like to extend a huge thanks to Larry Mills from DP Brakes. Larry reached out to KSR wanting to help and donated 2 brake pad sets. KSR set up a raffle for these pads and raised an additional $950. The total contribution will be for $3650 which we hope will help the Grass family through this difficult time.
 
Signed up for my first trackday with KSR for the 24th, pretty stoked.
Hoping to find someone also going to that day from Toronto - need transport 🤞- gas/beer money
