KTM Camshaft Issues

It's about time.

its not just the 790's that have unanswered issues. The RC390 has a history of over heating - for years..

fix this properly ktm, this is your reputation at stake. Invaluable.
 
The 790 is built somewhere other than Austria. I wonder why Triumph is doing the same but not having the same sort of issues?

In any case, yeah I know of some 390s grenading at the track too.
 
It is a bit disappointing watching them play ostrich with the issues. Apparently the 2nd gen 390s are pretty reliable

A far cry from aprilia replacing all engines on the 660 models because of some potential defects

Still, wont deter me from buying another KTM at some point again in the future
 
I'm coming up on my 60,000km maintenance on my 2nd Model Year (1st MY in NA, 2019) 790 Duke. I'll update when it gets done. I don't suspect any problems with the bike. We'll see when its opened up.

The 30,000km was done by Adrian at Ace Moto Tech. Nothing was reported when that was done, but I didn't tell him to look at it specifically.
