Know of any boots for those 'blessed' in the calf region?

My calves look like large potatoes under my skin.
I have always had to leave the tops of my boots undone when I was streetriding. Once I took to the track that wasn't an option so I tried on tons of boots. The adjustable calf on the Sidis made it an easy choice. I loosen it up all the way till I am fully suited up, then turn the dial till it snugs up to where I am comfortable.

Boots are one place where i will openly discourage people from buying the cheap stuff.

Cheap leathers or gloves, not the best idea but they'll likely still do the job if you have a get-off. A cheap helmet or cheap boots can result in preventable injuries that stay with you for the rest of your life.

+1, I firmly believe the only reason I'm walking today is because I was wearing Daytona's when my ankles were run over. They're the only boot I'll wear street or track.

Another vote here for the Dainese Torques.

The velcro adjustable calf flaps works GREAT over my 1 pc.

Until I can spring for the Daytona's.....THIS is it.

Well I tried the Puma's. They're better but I still don't see how I could get my leathers in there. :(

The Supertech Rs have the same design as the Daytonas, don't they?

I tried on the Supertech R's at SBTG and they were as bad as the TCX's. :(

Where can I try on the Daytona's?

Looks like I've got some saving to do.

Go to RC and check your size. Then, try Ebay. My friend got a Daytona EVO Sports at $100!(In May) Brand new condition from California. I also got mine from GTAM classified at $150.(In April) Again, brand new condition. .... Well, if John is in good mood and you have cash, he might give you a good deal.... never know.
Difficult to find Daytona Security EVO G3(Top line) on any classified but I see Sports EVO occasionally. Both are very comfortable race boots. Sports EVO is slightly more comfortable.
I have both Security EVO G3 and Sports EVO, so I know.

Let's go boots shopping:)

Love the hot pink duct tape girl!!!

A couple of weeks ago someone told me they thought it was some sort of "I am woman rawwwwr" thing. Uuuh nope!

Honestly if you hadn't told us what it was for we prob wouldn't have known.

I love coloured duct tape, I always end up buying blue cause that's my favorite colour.

CrazyKell, try the Sidi Vertigo Lei. That's what I have and they're highly calf adjustable. I also crash tested them yesterday and they're fantastic. Btw, I gotta love the ghetto duct tape fix. That's a pretty cool pic!

Another vote for the Dainese Torque. They make them as the Torque In and the Torque Out. One of them you tuck the leathers into, the others you leave them on the outside (put some velcro inside your leathers at the cuff). I have the ones that you tuck the leathers into. The calves are adjustable with some velcro flaps, and there is room for my calves, which are on the larger side as well.

They can't be twisted, easy to get on and off, comfortable. All around great boot.

That being said, if you can afford the Daytona's, they're better.
