Whats everyone using for knee guards?
Looking for a pair just for street riding, need something comfy and low profile for under jeans.
Looking at the new Icon Strykers.
Any opinions good or bad would be appreciated.

I have these Alpinestar Vapor Knee guards: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-vapor-knee-guard

I've only worn them a few times but am probably getting leathers soon so they're up for sale (pm me if you're interested - I've only got like less than an hour on them tops since I'm a brand new rider).

Was also looking at those, only put the icon's first because the articulate and figured they would be more comfortable.
Those are left and right specific correct?
Have you cut the straps to your size yet?

Yup - left and right specific... and nope haven't touched the straps lol..... I have skinny legs so looking back it might have been a good idea... but nope they are like brand new.

I have the knox cross guards which are a little anoying with the staps. I may switch to one of the "tube" styles posted above..

I would think the tube type would be hot and I like to had hard armor on the knees.
Straps are kiss on and off - tube type you have lose the boots

Was thinking the same.

Dainese Knee V Guards for me

I also use these. Depending on how tight your pants are you won't be able to see them much, the straps are comfortable, and there are 3 pieces that move around so they're also comfortable when standing up. I can't speak for the other guards, but I know the icon strykers are much bulkier and you'll definitely see these under pants. With the Dainese, you'll also get a few more inches of protection in both directions.

Icon Stryker under my jeans for now. Will try using them with the textile pants I will be buying at some point soon.

Not sure if I will try a chest and/or elbow protection as well to go under my jacket.
