Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph Photo Tag

Wow, I killed this thread or what? Need a hint? It's near Wellesley.

I figured it out yesterday afternoon. I have driven by there many times but i couldnt remember until yesterday and just been really busy to make it out today. Maybe get out tomorrow if it's not been done yet. Good one really good.

Be sure to hit all the twisties west of there and through Lisbon. Watch out for leaves and gravel though.

This time no clue to start. i hope this takes you longer than the last time Dave

What ever happened to 'pick something easy to find, not some random bridge or field'???
Photo Tag isn't about picking the hardest things to find, it's about encouraging people to get out and ride!

Funny thing is, I know I've seen that tractor, just need to remember where. I think I have an idea... If I figure it out I'll give you a call and we can go get it together.

I do agree but at the sane time you have to make it some what interesting and fun. Also this way people get out and learn more of our back roads. This forces people to think. I'm sorry I'm not tring to make this a hard thing I know this is a very highly travelled road by motorcycles. I must have past 8 to 15 bikes yesterday. Again sorry not tring to be a jerk just having some fun. Did not mean to offend any one.

That was my first thought about the lamas. Have driven by there a million times.( parents live in New Hamburg ). But couldn't remember where it was.

Agreed...I don't even bother anymore.

Is there a lot of people that have given up on this thread because I took a picture of a bridge? I looked throughout the thread and found pictures in all kinds of places. I thought I was ok for taking pictures of that stuff. Sorry I really did not think I was doing anything out of the norm.

Just for next time. Where or what kind of pictures would be acceptable?

90% of my riding is commuting everyday back and forth to work and don't do much weekend riding therefore I don't know the backroads well enough to memorize a random bridge/lake/tree. Keep it in town and I'll be more than happy to take an extra 20 minutes out of my way to play.

There's nothing in the rules about it being a popular landmark or site. Also, photo clues along the route to the tag are optional. I don't have a problem with it... If anything the bridge I posted earlier this season was the stupid one since it was literally in the middle of nowhere, however right in the middle of some fun country twisties.

If it's too hard and sits too long then clues get posted... no big deal. Already we have a clue that the tractor is on a well travelled popular bike road.

I would like to get this one unfortunatly i have no idea, The lama farm i knew but could not act quick enough.. if you dont know one wait for clues or wait for the next . You are bound to get one you know eventualy.

Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph photo tag

Was out booting around and figured I might as well start this thread.

There is already another thread for photo tag but seems like a Durham Toronto area thread, so I am gonna make a Tri-City Guelph one.

http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=80075&highlight=Photo+Tag

The rules are pretty simple...
1). Post a picture of any place in Waterloo / Wellington Region that you have ridden to.
2). The bike must be in the picture.
3). The place has to be somewhere anyone can ride to (no private property etc.), on roads (paved or gravel) no trails.
4). Show some photo clues taken along the way to the tag spot (optional).
5). The first person to post a shot of the same spot (including their bike) on this thread gets to place the next tag.
6). No old photos, must be current.

Amendment #1. The person who finds and posts a tag, must place another tag withing 3 hours of the find post or else that tag is considered void still open.

Here is the Region

Seeing as it's supposed to be half decent friday ( thinking of bagging the day and going for a ride ) and this weekend, I will drop a clue. This picture was taken West of Waterloo lets say West of Jacks family resturant.

Have fun riding.

We didn't find the tractor yesterday. I wonder if it's been pulled into the barn for the winter... we snapped a new tag though, in anticipation. haha...

Not sure how this game works. it wont let me post a pic more than 2 kb!!!! I cant play if 2kb is the limit lol

You have to post a picture to a photo sharing site like flickr.com or photobucket.com, etc, then link it here using a BBCode IMG tag. Like this, without the spaces: [ I M G ]http://link to photo[ / I M G ]
