Kitchener/Waterloo area, c u next trackday riders thread!

I won’t be in red. My plan was to be in green on Sunday to learn the track and move to yellow on Monday.
I’ve got a lap timer on my bike for me and I’ll bring my sundial to time you. We’ll see what’s what on Monday!

Red is very fast at Calabogie. I'm bottom to middle of the pack. Most are on litre bikes.

If you do spend the whole day in green be careful not to do late passes into turn 1. It's easy to spook people there. From turn 4 to 5 is a better place to pass. We can discuss lines to help you get a good run on the litre bikes.

I'm signed up for Bogie June 16. See you guys there!

Wait....will you only be riding on the 16th? What group will you be in? I was hoping to use you to learn some good lines and get to know the track!

Yes, I'm only riding on the 16th in green group. I have great lines at Calabogie. You're welcome to tag along until you feel the need to go faster and then just pass me. I cannot physically ride two days in a row due to knee problems but I'll still be there on the 17th to be Dave's pit crew. I'm hoping my new suit might help a bit with the knee problems but have to wait and see.

Super! I’ve been studying the track layout but it’ll be nice to know the lines.
Julia’s coming with me so you can keep her company on Monday!

Wow, adding to the Kitchener/Waterloo contingent June 16/17th. Will be good to see smergy and BigEvilDoer again now that I have become a Bogie snob and stopped going to GB :)

I'll be in green getting used to my new bike and eventually get back to trying to keep up with GSXR Girl

We can all ride in a train, go dangerously slow and then try and get some sweet pics for the ‘gram!

Come on Dave... Riding dangerously slow on the race line is what all the cool facebookie cool kids are doing! Get with the times!

most Bogie weekends are sold out so its unlikely that you will be able to jump from group to group, also if im not mistaken the new to track orientation is mandatory if its your first time at Bogie regardless of riding level.

enjoy the track, it will probably ruin all other Ontario tracks for you.

No worries.. wouldn't try to jump mid-day there. Decided on Green/Yellow for the days I'm going. And I know there's a new to track X fee and know I get info I need. All good by me.

What he said. I’m all for learning the track and playing by the rules. And I wasn’t thinking about switching groups mid day, but rather signing up for one group one day and a different one the next.

There is often some level of attrition that makes for room in groups. Plus I think "sold out" is a few spots lower than the insured maximum.

new to track orientation fee is worth every penny at Bogie, I think they spend 3 sessions with you in the morning
