Guessing they'll just mark a tick beside each layout for every vote. Layout with most ticks wins.
Will be fun getting my @ss handed to me by the rest of the KW crew in red...

Michelle, you going to try red this time out?

was that on the SV or something?

I've done it with NAFTA. My best recorded times were:
SV - 1:22.6
NAFTA - 1:21.6
There were a few puddles on the track all day, but didn't cause too much trouble. I've never had a good feel with tires at TMP. Never felt confident pushing.

One of these days I'll time a lap... but then I keep buying tires and track days

That time was also via the built in dash timer - have to hit the starter button to start the next lap, so there's bound to be some error factor there.
It was also only one lap I made that time, when I was getting a tow from Senior Smergy. My average was more like 1:22.5...

Oh, well that's different then. Still a good pace. I might time some laps tomorrow just to measure suspension changes against lap times.

That was really fun! I'd say that's well worth $60. If there had been some crash delays, maybe not, but 4 good sessions was awesome.

It was great! Nice to track with the old crew again :)

Was definitely fun seeing almost everyone from the old crew at the track again yesterday... only ones missing were Steve and Dan W., right? Good to see Thomas and Heather out yesterday too.

Should see about doing that again before the season is out. It's a bit of a ways away, but I'm thinking September 14 at Shannonville...

I don't think I'll be making the drive to Shannonville for a 3rd time this year. August is packed too. Last night, Mosport next Tuesday, possibly the 24th at Grand Bend and then Calabogie right at the end of the month.

mosport on tuesday, probably that aug. date at GBM, but that's all I have planned for now. SMP, we'll see how we feel. 2x this year so far, and Toronto gets worse every time. Be interesting to see if they can sign up more than 36 people for the GBM day. I'd guess not. 2 groups would have been nice. Having the whole group there made it worth while, but for all the driving/time off work/etc. its a fair bit of effort when 3 groups are run. Still had a lot of fun though, minus having a hard time keeping temperature after a few laps. Back to GPAs for mosport, the KR451 had a good run.

Had a great time yesturday, just glad to keep it in one piece. And for the record when Dave says "I'm just going to go slow, its the last session" when you're on the start line, that lasts until turn 1. Had to switch brakes after the first session, new ones are better, but perhaps still not as aggressive as they could be. The back end still comes off the ground with the new brakes at times, so maybe you just get used to hard braking and it doesn't feel quite that aggressive after a while.

Tim was posting some decent lap times, he's become much harder to catch. Keep it up!

LOL... It's your fault, Randy. You head out onto the track like a scalded cat, so I have to keep up.

See? That's the problem.... you're still catching me! And the proceeding to leave me in your collective dust.
Maybe next year I'll be able to shave a second off the lap gap time...

Good chance I'll be doing mosport next Thursday with riders choice

Mosport was great today. Early riders meeting, by 9:02 we were on the track. Track was dry all day, despite some threatening clouds early on and in the late afternoon. Dave set a personal best, I tried not to blow up my motor by sending it off the rev limiter at the top of 6th before hitting the end of the back straight (even with the lower gearing). A few suspension adjustments to improve drive and tire wear, mainly less rebound in the rear.

Ride is a bit rougher, but drive on to the back straight is much better. Started taking a bit more speed into 2, 4, and 8. Didn't lean quite hard enough once into 2 which you pretty much just lean and prey you can get it pulled back before anything major happened. Had a similar incident in 4, but managed to come out ok. Worked on keeping it pinned until you just past the bridge on the back straight, not as easy as you'd think.

Red group was sizzling quick all day. Quite a few pro riders that come by like your standing still, but that's to be expected. All clean passes, and only 1 crash and no red flags. Don't think that's ever happened before. Serious fun had by all.
