I was shocked to see the super low price at Costco for full Synthetic 5w30....$ $30 something for 10 L.... sound to good to be true....watch the vid below.

Kirkland Signature stuff is usually just rebranded big name stuff. Sometimes a little internet sleuthing lets you figure out what it actually is. Whatever it is is usually a pretty good deal though.

True. Their dog food is made by Douglas who makes food for other brands. Gets a 4.5 out of 5 rating on petfoodadvisor.net. $50/bag vs. Fromm at $95/bag that gets a 5 out of 5 rating is a no brainer. One of the HVAC service guys in other half of the building I worked at did their residential calls and kept those big-aas Kirkland biscuits in his van. Gave one to my dog one day and she went off. Would run to his van every time he pulled into the lot after the first one.

Now if only they sold a JASO-MA2 oil...

After I spent $120 for an oil change for the Odyssey I’ll be looking at the Kirkland stuff and DIY.

Ouch. We do our 2020 Ody at home also. 0W20 when it goes 45% off at CT (around $32ish) and a filter. Pull front passenger tire makes it quicker/easier and a plastic bag around the filter when removing keeps any oil from dripping.

And they ask for a tip! But that’s a diff thread all on its own.

Was wondering how difficult it is to change oil in the odyssey and whether I’d need to pull the wheel.

I used ramps with my 2001 Odyssey, but I'm pretty sure I could have done it on the ground like my 2007 MDX. No need to remove the wheel, but it does give you a little more room. I just turn mine all the way, and it's enough. The trick was to loosen the filter with the tool of your choice, then place a 2L pop bottle with the top cut off over it to keep your hands clean and catch the oil as you remove it. Worked well enough, but was pretty slick, and I recently switched to one of these for $3 which have been on sale at PA for ages now:

I also replaced my drain plug with a Stahlbus drain valve. No more tools, but most importantly for me, no mess to clean up:

I replaced the drain plug on my Katana years ago with a fumoto drain valve. I loved that thing.
