I kinda agree, with the front view you expect the "head" to be a little more 3d. Its so flat from the side

Think it just depends on the person.

The original has a "I'm gonna go so fast a helicopter can't catch me" feeling.

This one has a "I've just out run zombies and here's my shotgun" feeling.

Both are cool!
