I know this area very well. I ride my mountain bike down there weekly on Thursdays (so no L&L sqidding for me!!). WTF - I know the ways to get in there there frome every direction - you guys must have gone around the DO NOT ENTER signs and gates at the bottom of Pottery Rd. I used to ride with you guys....now I know why I don't - this is nuts. Where you guys met at DQ I have a beer after my peddle bike group ride (Whistlers). I don't know whether to be be mad or giving props - this is touchy terrain. The City wants to close access to mtn bikers...if they see motor bikes down there we who ride there daily are screwed. Don't ruin it for the hundreds that ride their peddle bikes there.

Gotta say though - nice pics.

Nopers, would never do such a thing. Entered at a construction site where they are building something, no signs, no nothing :D

Heck, it's even marked as a real road on my map ;)

don't ******** me on this one jamie. This is not meant for motor bike access at all - even from the top of Bayview at Nesbitt.

The "road" was access for recent sewer upgrades and the area is Conservatory Lands of the City.

Is that private property??? or toronto public because if your riding your mountain bikes through there it not be privately owned.

Thanks guys - this is City of Toronto Conservation lands so yes, it's for public use but the type of use is very restricted. Definately no motorbikes.

I had a link to a City of Toronto site about this area - it's called Crother's Woods if I recall.
