I'd say a twin trumps a single though. the Kawi 250 is looking like a nice package.

The new Kawi comes with FI too. And I'd still choose the Honda.

Yes, and the only reason for that, is that Europe has considerably more stringent emission standards for motorcycles. There's no change in emission standards for North America, so theoretically, Kawasaki could cheap out again.

OTOH the Hondas are built the same worldwide, to meet the most stringent worldwide standards, and the cbr125 and cbr250 both use closed-loop EFI with 3-way catalyst.

If it's not then Kawasaki (and any other bike maker) is hurting and should be shot dead out of its misery. No bike should be carburated in 2012.

I like it! Especially the dash. Hopefully Kawi leaves the EFI in for North America...

Sadly, it appears that, despite the heavily revised frame, motor and fairings, this is yet another facelift to a bike that’s been around largely unaltered since 1985 rather than an all-new model.
