looks cool and looks like kawi 250r smarten up with ABS and FI ...
Ninja my have more aggressive styling but CBR has better build quality.
I would. Having had a CBR 125 and a Ninja 250... I have to say I like Kawi better - for comfort, handling and style, not to mention the CBR colour options are a little bland.

Personally had this been out when I was buying, I probably would have went with this new Kawasaki over the Honda. With that said, doesn't hugely matter anyways, as I am probably going to move up to a 600SS in another 1-2 years anyways (once I have full M and can test ride the lot of them, and hopefully lower insurance).
EDIT: Side note, hears to hoping Honda releases a new CBR600RRA within the next year or so, or brings back a newer incarnation of the CBR600F4i.

Come on, Kawasaki, ditch the carbs and give us the EFI model.
In the various photos, I spy:
- A steel frame that doesn't look much different from the current model. I daresay the CBR125R has a better frame than this. Granted, with modest power output, doesn't really need to be all that fancy.
- Coil on plug ignition. Good move.
- Much, much better looking instruments including a digital speedo.
- I spy a catalytic converter built into the exhaust system with a lambda sensor to allow closed-loop operation. Good ... if they bring the EFI model here instead of cheaping out.
- Looks like some sort of engineered-in frame slider? Photo #25 in the Asphalt-and-rubber article. Ideas?
- The cover over the muffler acts as a heat shield. Good. But from the size of it, it looks like they missed the mark on something Honda did ... the Honda cover is designed to be a cheap ($35-ish) expendable piece in case the bike tips over or slides on that side, without wrecking the whole exhaust system. The Kawasaki one doesn't appear to provide enough coverage to act like that.
- Cylinders are now aluminum with a coating in place of cast iron liners. Hopefully they fix the tendency of these engines to burn a little bit of oil ... normally nothing to worry about, until a noob rider who doesn't realize that they should check the oil, doesn't ...
