Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE Insurance

Hello!

Out of couristy, has anyone been able to get insurance for the Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE? How much are you paying for? I would imagine it's alot more than the average but I can't seem to find a price without actually calling up insurance companies. Does anyone know if it's classified as a supersport or a sport touring motorcycle?

its a sport tourer. but supercharged motor might scare some insurers away from friendly rates.

Not a lot of H2's insured in Ontario. There is at least one H2 owner on GTAM but that one isn't an SX. Honestly, what others are paying barely matters. If you want the numbers for you, you need to talk to insurance companies/brokers. Postal code/age/history can change the rate by almost an order of magnitude. @NFP Moto may be able to help you with how insurance companies are classifying that bike.

Thanks, I'll probably do that in the future. Just curious if it's actually possible in Canada. Been my dream bike for years but for me especially at this time will definitely be a poor financial decision if I were to purchase one. 😢

There is a guy here with one NS, he had to go to quebec to get it. So insurance is doable in Canada, Ontario not so much. Lol

Again perfect example of why you should go through a broker like NFP Moto. Every insurance company rates different bikes their own way, there is no master list. For example some companies rate even a Ninja 250 as a "sport bike" so they wont do it and others that can insure even a first year rider on a KTM Super Duke 1290R. Our moto specialists will find the insurance carrier with the best fit and rates for your specific scenario (license class, age, experience, location, etc). For a quote email to: moto@nfp.com
