Why would you buy such a pig for offroad only? A buddy I ride with hated his offroad, so much that he bought a 250 2t just for offroad.

Maybe he doesn't like single track or tight stuff - the 650R's are the Kings of fireroad and baja-style riding. Although granted the modified CRF450X have been Honda's Baja 1000 weapon of choice for the last few years...

I hear they made good dual sports if you can find one that's still blue plated
