i talked to someone at the soar weekend promoting this if i wanted to get in to track days. but he also said the race 5 program would be better for me specifically. do guys with bikes offer a race licencing program. will end up taking race 5 anyway to race the 125's but want to know the difference.

I'm in the beginner group on Sunday, hopefully there will be sunshine and lots of track time.

pretty sure gwb can not get you your race licence.
talk to ken from soar if you want the details.

looks like i'm stuck being a street hooligan for now. i'll try and start off by marshaling as a volunteer.

The GWB "Intro to Track" is NOT a race school and won't count towards any licensing. It's a beginner's guide to track riding and controlled riding. It's a good course, but if you want more race-related instruction, take Racer 5. The instructors with Racer5 all have pro race experience.

Booked for Sat. Hoping for some nice lapping weather & looking forward to trying out the new suspension. Been riding on tired stock for long time.

Bring your hearing protection, it's the nitro nationals and 8000hp nitro and jet cars can get pretty loud, sat looks like the dry day so far.

Just saw the weather report. I'm hoping that it'll change before the weekend. Last time I went it called for rain and it ended up being a dry day with a dozen riders.

In response to the question regarding having a camera mounted on the bike for the Surviving the Streets course:

Shouldn't be a problem, as long as the camera is mounted securely and there are no loose wires, etc. The tech inspector will have final say over this but I don't forsee any problem.

Peace.

I've signed up for the Intro to Track Day on Saturday evening, hoping it's a dry weekend :)

I've singed up for the Saturday intro to track as well. Keep an eye open for a green zx-6rr
