you're missing the apex in turn 1. hug it closer and you can maintain more speed through it. hug the turtles in turn 2 to avoid the bumps and you run wide consistently thru the carousel.

I'm no Phil Leckie but I've done it enough times to know where you can go fast.

yeah i know, turn one is tricky for me, ive been trying to find the best line through it, i just need to follow one of the pro guys around for a few laps and get it sorted out. turn two i agree with as well, i went a little wide in there and found the big bumps for the first time on sunday so i was trying to hug it closer, and which section of the carousel? thanks for the help

not many people are, he knows his way around that track, i tried to chase after him twice on sunday and was able to maintain sight of him for about a half a lap, lol

Wide in T1. You're wasting loads of time. You enter wide, run wider, then square it up and end up mid track, then drive down the straight drifting to the outside again.

Turn in earlier, hug the curb for a while and drive it out late. Its A LOT less bumpy inside. Once you figure it out you'll find a fairly bump free lane out of T1.

T2 you have to turn in earlier as well. You need to get inside that weird pavement edge 6ft off the curb and T2 is pretty smooth. I don't even drop a knee there but can carry loads more speed through it into T3.

You ran wide into T6 half the time. Late apex and shoot it down the short straight.

Most of the rest of the track you got right at some point. Just focus on getting closer to the curbs instead of cruising 6ft off them.

I've got a question about turn 6. On corner entry once I start leaning the bike over, there is a huge bump, kind of like a seam in the pavement. There is also a ripple if you were taking a late apex. Any tips on finding a better and smoother line through there without being off the racing line?

great info thanks very much. ive struggled with turn 6 from the first time i went to tmp, im about 8-10 track days in there right now, i tried different lines through it, i dont know if its the nature of the corner or what, ive managed to make it through there nice and clean and with decent speed a couple times but most of the time i hit it wrong. turn two in my second video i managed to get in nice and tight to the turtle and it didnt rock the bike, i went a little wide once and thought i was getting pitched but ill work on coming in sooner and touching the turtle, and turn one i really need to follow one of the real fast guys through to learn the line, im back in a week so ill take what you guys are saying and try to put it to use. everyone has always talked about the right line through turn 1 and how its fairly bump free ive just never had the chance to follow anyone through there to show me the correct path, does anyone have any on board videos of their bikes showing the lines?

If you watch the first 20 seconds of your video with the other riding going through turn 1, I rode his line a few times and the track felt fairly smooth. However I could be wrong, it was only my second track day.
