I'm wondering how some of the track guys would do at isle of man. I guess they would have to up the game
Check MotoGP fatalities vs Isle of Man.
Not knocking on any of the IoM riders or their skill but the comparison is flawed.

Apples and oranges when trying to compare the twoCheck MotoGP fatalities vs Isle of Man.

Is this a contest? I passed a sportbike in the rain, on the Blue Ridge with my Wing 2up.Iv'e chased lots of sportbikes through 15sr on my KLR
Rider size is another factor. Not many GP racers are over 6' or 150 lbs, whereas roads racers are often big lads. My all-time favourite racer, David Jefferies, was a very big boy. McGuinness is a sizeable fellow, same with Hickman, and a bunch of others. Having the strength to manhandle those bikes on much bumpier roads is a huge factor, and the constant acceleration and hard braking from and to slow speeds like you get on a short circuit (where low weight really helps) is much less of a factor on longer roads courses. There is very little cross-over between riders who do well under Isle of Man conditions, and those who do well in closed-circuit conditions.
Why would you ask that? Was it ever said that i was racing, I was pushing sport bike that obviously thought they was racing thoughIs this a contest? I passed a sportbike in the rain, on the Blue Ridge with my Wing 2up.
TBH she wasn't riding very fast, but still....
Sorry I thought we were on "I passed a sportbike" tangent. I'll fall in line now...Why would you ask that? Was it ever said that i was racing, I was pushing sport bike that obviously thought they was racing though
