The specific one maybe but having worked long ago in an auto plant things like this (and much, much worse) do happen....
Funny but not auto plant related. On our recent easy coast trip we thought we had a new problem with our car wth a new clanging sound on bumps, after a couple hundred clicks we realized it was the zipper on my wife's jacket pining against the metal water bottle in the cup holder!
I can relate. I have a stainless hydration bottle (Water bottle) and it's like a cowbell.
