true. the jays used 7 relief pitchers after redmond tonight... and still lose the game. that 7 guys that had to go warm up, come in and pitch to 1-4 guys, then sit down. great job wearing down the bullpen even more.

Why do they call it the bullpen?
It should be more aptly named the warmup pen or pitching pen.

That's the biggest problem. He could of left Redmond in for 1 or 2 more innings, and left Cecil in after that. Cecil has been a stater so there was no reason to replace him when he was throwing well. Look at the guys he leaves in for 7 runs before pulling them. Pure uselessness.

thats what speed on the base paths can do for you... it creates opportunities to score runs. baseball isn't just about hitting home runs. but this isn't a baseball town.

Glad you can't expect much from Redmond, last start was stellar and today all he did was, 6 hits, 1 run, 1BB, 4 k's, 6 innings.
Just in case you forgot his last start
3 hits, no runs, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts, 5.1 innings
We should trade him lmao
