Joe Rocket Speedmaster 11.0 - looking for opinions

Looking for a jacket shouldn't be so difficult - given the number of brands out there. But based on a simple list of requirements, it can get hard:

1) Needs well-placed and tasteful colours - colours help with visibility (white, blue, red), without having to resort to a high-viz vest or jacket, and it nneeds to be tasteful so it doesn't make you look like a Power Ranger
2) Protection - Minimum requirements are shoulder, arm (elbow) and back CE rated protection. Better if its Knox or a similar mfr
3) Leather - Doesn't have to be FULL leather, because in our varied climate, it'd be nice to have leather in only the places where it's needed. Under/inside the arms should have perforated or nylon-type material for flexibility
4) VENTING - again, cuz of our varied climate, zippered vents make a huge difference. Couple them with an insulated liner, and one jacket can easily keep you comfy from 10 degC to 30 deg C (temps which can be seen in a single early/late summer day)
5) Price - These days, I dont think it's unreasonable to get all the above for $500 CAD.
6) Collar - I like the option of a short (motorcycle-type) collar... why some jackets leave this out, I'll never quite understand.

All those together, and there's probably 2-3 jackets on the market - and if none of them fit you well, then you're SOL.

What about the cool factor :p. kidding. (referring to the hump)Ya just cant find any reviews on that particular jacket. Decided to ask. Most concerned with ventilation, is it more of a fall/winter/spring jacket. Or could be used year around

What's wrong with 'exposed' zipper? I crashed in the Scorpion perforated leather jacket (~40 km/h). Don't remember the model number, it looks like a Stinger though. Jacket survived the slide on asphalt very nicely. Obviously, like any other jacket, it didn't save me from a broken arm lol.
