Why can't I just plug my usb printer in and print?!?!
Won't work with the laptop, netbook, pc or chromebook!
And I am *pretty sure* all the drivers are installed. I tried the troubleshooter on the laptop and it wants administrator access ( win 7, kid at work took off vista and installed this. Possibly a non genuine copy)

Should still be able to do whatever you need to do even if it isn't a genuine copy until Windows detects it and throws it on your background saying so.
For the driver, just search for the correct driver on the manufacturer's website.\
If it isn't a genuine copy of Windows and it detected it already, Windows Update will not work which is typically what is used for an easy "plug and play" when automatically installing drivers.
Again, going to the manufacturer's website and installing the driver manually would be the best route to go.
