Chocking someone with their consent is fine, unless they become unconscious, then they can not consent anymore because they are not conscious and it becomes a crime.

I think the CBC response is actually somewhat tempered because they are using a famed Canadian female author with a blog to make their point.

I'm pretty sure that you aren't supposed to go around assaulting people, and then try and decide if they liked it afterwards by their actions. That seems kind of backward.

Maybe not but you can judge how big of a deal it was at the time by their actions. 10-13yrs. later they want to ruin a guy for doing something that carried so little weight back then?

So the third complainant is now also admitting that she also withheld information about her POST ALLEGED ASSAULT relationship with Jian Ghomeishi!!! WTF!!!!
All 3 women have been lying and somehow he is still on trial!!
If you think someone assaulted you, you dont go back for more romantic relations. You wanted him you went back,. When he dumped you and later you realized you can make $$$ off of him, you decided why not.

Also very curious that the 3rd complainant becamse good friends with the second complainant before they went to the police with theie matching stories. Oh but now their stories are all falling apart!

Not to mention children that were victimized by persons of power (priests, scout leaders, coaches) who stayed part of that group despite the assault even becoming close to their abuser.

"Jian Ghomeshi’s sexual assault trial is hearing that two of the complainants who testified against the disgraced broadcaster discussed the allegations in thousands of messages they exchanged before and after they went to police.

The third woman to testify against Ghomeshi said earlier on Monday that while she and “Trailer Park Boys” actress Lucy DeCoutere – who testified last week – were friends, they did not discuss the sexual assault allegations involving the former CBC Radio host.


But during an intense cross-examination, the woman, who can not be identified, said that she did in fact discuss the allegations with DeCoutere."

If they did, its not longer assault since its aonsentual and she 'chose' to go back. Its what she wanted and therefore not assault.

Now to go back and then years later change your mind and try to destory someones life because you NOW changed your mind, is crazy and makes no sense. And these false accusers should be jailed because if their false accusationsare believed, the other person's life is over.

If they did ( as in if a woman went back to her sexual offender on her own volition) , its not longer assault since its consensual* and she 'chose' to go back. Its what she wanted and therefore not assault.

Ok so maybe my comment is actually not clear. I thought it was.

Im simply saying that if you consider what he did to be assault, then you as a girl dont keep going back to him for more and more. And if you choose to go back because you want to, then its no longer assault since you willingly went back for more.


Hope that's more clear.
