I am 40 years old with a clean abstract and enjoy the feel and nimble handling of an SS on the street and feel far more confident riding my zx-10r than the many cruisers I have owned over the years. Not to mention that I have both abs and traction control on my kawi that has served me well on the street from idiotic caters on the road. In over 20 years of riding I have never felt safer riding than on my kawi due to these technogical advances, which is the primary reason I chose my zx10r. The reason for my post was my frustration at lack of choice for insurance options, which left un-checked will create an almost monopolistic environment for insuring an SS. Which I don't know about you, doesn't sit too well with me. I for one cannot stand that the hobby that is also my passion is being dictated by private enterprise ( insurance companies) are going to be accelerating the death of this hobby/ industry in Ontario. Countries both emerging and developed are embracing the efficiency of scooters and motorcycles we seem to be thrusting ourselves into the dark ages. Have you ever need to San Francisco? Dedicated bike lanes, lane splitting is legal and even an abundance of motorcycle only parking areas. Don't even get me started about how motorcycle friendly Europe is. I can pay to play, however on principal this really bothers me.
Sorry for the rant gents, I just the previous post makes no sense and is without merit.
