Keep your chin up and GWS, you lucky SOB - could have been much worse! Tell your "nine lives doctor" that there's no substitute for having a golden horse shoe up your ass!
Seriously, Jamie....you're luckier than a cat. What's that...TEN lives now?
I'm not sure if you've got more haters or fans but either way, I admire your ability to keep your spirits up and keep that glass half full. Hope you heal up soon!
TAFB/Jamie has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home. His leg hurts like a B***h but he is feeling generally better. They still can't find his bike, they say it was "released to the wrong party" or "accidentally sent to auction". I still hhave no idea how you lose a bike but obviously there are the dumb ones out there that do. GWS.
All the best for your recovery. I broke my femur up high 15 02 1995 (but not a compound fracture) from a slip on ice and they put in a "Russell Nail" full length. I threw away my crutches that May 24. A couple years later the locating screws top and bottom were taken out. It is a permanent fix. Work hard on the physio when the dr's let you and it will work out.
oh wow, done that road a few times, not far from me, what a crappy way to get tagged...so any details on the suv/driver? gw and i hope they give you lots of good drugs...
