Italian Electric Sportbike - Energica Ego

Insurance in England is already by power and weight. Displacement never made sense.
This is good for older bikes, as 1000CC older bikes were paying too much, when they have less power than modern 600s.

Here's the Mavizen Electric. Electric KTM Duke. These are all pretty much the same, the motors are so efficient, there is no difference, and the batteries are all lithium ion.

I could care less about the whole environmental thing (when it comes to bikes). I just hate stopping for gas twice a week and spending $160/month on it. I'd rather plug it in at work, ride home, ride to work, plug it in at work again. I commute, and I like sport bikes, anything with 150km+ range that doesn't cost a fortune is something I'd consider.

Personally, I hate spending money that goes to either countries that support wars and terror, or countries that support a massive military to keep oil and gas slightly cheaper.
That, and the massive price fixing that occurs at the pumps. There's always some excuse to jump prices just before a holiday weekend.
I also think after 100 years, we can move away from engines that are at best, 25-30% efficient.
