It happened guys

I could use a new F150...

My current is a 2010 with 352 000 kms on her... 'Solid engine and drive train. Never needed and major repairs....
Only issue is... She's started to rust.
Well... She's probably been rusting for a while, but it's gotten to like "stage 4".... LoL

better deals on the RAM last i saw, if you`re interested in the competition.

but i have to shamelessly plug the GM tailgates (my company designed & assembled them), they are pretty rad.

if I ever hit the lottery

Man..I just started dreaming of what I'd like to do if I had even $500,000 CAD at my disposal.
$100k for my dream garage in the backyard, a restomod 1969 Charger with the new 426 Crate Hemi + 6 speed tremec and a 2020 Ram 1500.
Oh, and ofcourse. last but not the least, an Indian Scout Bobber, lol.

I can think of a few cars, but every one would be a convertible, it would be almost a bike.

A few assembly stations involving parts for those have crossed my desk. IIRC it's only the GMC that has the double tailgate. 'Course, assembly equipment for all sorts of vehicles cross my desk. One of your sister divisions makes suspension parts for the F150, among others. One of your local distant-cousin divisions makes the fancy powered running boards that the high end versions of the Ram trucks have.

Being a bike guy, cars are for commuting to work and getting groceries and surviving winter, and trucks and vans are for hauling bikes, and I won't buy the super high end trim level luxury versions that have all those bells and whistles!

How many mpg you think?
Don't you mean gpm?

That was what I was going to say. But whatever, if you can afford one of those the cost of the fuel won't be a biggie. Probably similar territory to a class 8 truck, mid 40L/100KM range.

I'm hoping by the time I retire (as the wife and I plan to buy a coach and travel, renting the house for extra income) there's some hybrid electric options. If I can scoop a few hundred kw from an overnight campsite stop and it gets me even 100-200km down the road the next day before we kick onto diesel, well, bonus....and if we're in no rush, who knows, 100-200km might be all we want or need to bother travelling that particular day.

Many years ago I was at the marina in Port Credit and saw a black Ferrari across the parking lot. Being a rare colour I walked over for a closer look and noted it was full of door dings and scratches. I came to the realization that the general public has no appreciation for the finer things in life so why put them on display.

Option B is that said Ferrari owner parks it like a douche canoe in public and people unintentionally ding it just trying to get in and out of their own cars, or (sadly) intentionally ding it just to "teach him a lesson". We've all seen those people who think that their car is so special that they need 1.5 spots in the prime parking instead of just parking waaaaay back in the empty section of a parking lot way away from everyone else.

I've always wondered whether Krown really plays a role in preventing or delaying the onset of rust over time..

I use Rust Check. And yes, it very much works. Unfortunately most people don't think about rust protection application until the rust has already started and then it can be too late - you will likely stop what's there, but it won't heal it. The key is to start applying it about 2 years after the car was new and stick with it every year like it or not - I've personally seen 20 year old cars driven all year round that look like they just rolled off the line because of yearly Rust Check application.

I'm a bike guy, but I wouldn't turn this down if it was offered free of charge to me:

In fact, I have a whole list of cars I wouldn't turn down. Most of them Italian and German...

Sorry but the original over that for me. I still remember seeing it at the autoshow and then hearing that v10.
