Insure a "modded" bike from SF

Dear GTAMers, SF (and probably others too) starts to ask for photos of the motorcycle in order to underwrite you. I am just wondering if the bike has somewhat of a non-oem paint on the fairing (it's an R6 Raven edition with centre fairing painted red). Are they gonna give me ****** when I say the bike is not modded? Anyone had any specific experience?

Cheers!

I doubt they'll even take notice, they'll be to busy taking your money...

Don't sweat the small stuff, if it is just paint...say nothing

Full R55 on mine with a bunch of gold stuff and a puig wind screen. They didn't care!

Did they ask for picture of your bike? They never do that, why the heck would want to do that when you given them ownership and VIN. I think they want to see exterior mods maybe?

Statefarm does. Apparently they used to request that you bring the bike to them and they take pictures.

Statefarm only cares engine mods; they dont care about cosmetics, I have a few mods on mine: steering damper, pazzo levers, even a slip on, they didnt care at all.

Its because with so many bikes out there with damage from "dropped by the previous owner" they don't want to be taken and pay out for already damaged parts.

I am not exactly sure what SF does with the photos, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't think they'll use it to deny coverage, I'm thinking they might use it as something for comparison if they have to come up with a market value for your bike.
