Insurance for Track Bikes?

State Farm will do fire and theft for a specified time if you are going from a plated, street bike to sitting (as in fixing). I had it on my first track bike i turned from a street bike. It only lasted 6 months or so, then i got a call asking when it will be back on the road. I said i didn't know, it could be a while and fire and theft was removed.

YES THERE IS! Ralph Zutter came through, on $22,000 worth of bike, trailer, tools, equipment he quoted $350 for a year with $1000 deductible. The ONLY time the bike is not covered is when the engine is running. At home, at a friend's house, at the hotel, on the road everything is covered. Great program. Will be signing up in a few months.
Meme and caboose483 take note - there is a solution.

So if I manage to shut the engine off while airborne, before the bike lands and breaks..... am I covered?

If you never return it to the trailer I guess you could claim, but this is THEFT insurance, not collision, either with animate or inanimate objects. Better than that, after the crash you return to the trailer unseen by others, pull off the gas line, set it on fire and go for a walk.
