OP can your father get the policy and you ride under his name until you turn 25?

Terrible advice. That's essentially fraud and you'll potentially get screwed over

Even if OP is declared on his parents' policy, it'll be just as pricey as if he got his own insurance because he'll be the biggest risk.

Also by doing this if there is any claims, they go against both the rider and the father in the future.
 
I started riding at 22: G licence, SS, no tickets (at the time), no car. I paid $3600 (myself). SF is your only bet. They don't care if you're 19 or 24, the only break you get is at 25. If you have a car insured with SF you'll get a better price. If you have < 3 tickets, a driver's license for >5 years, and no car, you will get insured and be in that range...unless you live in Brampton
