don't even bother with a street bike complete waste of money, find a dirt bike and get a trail pass if you wanna ride. plus you can "legally" do more stupid ****.
 
PM Reciprocity and ask him if you can come to a track day with him or he can point you to others. You will get to go and experience the fun first hand then decide from there.

Your insurance will be about $5000 a year likely upfront.

Insurance is high for young riders because they claim a lot. The reasons? This is most likely due to a combination of immaturity, inexperience, and a lack of a fear of death.
