Aliki I really don't think that you would have a hard time finding someone to help apply the sunblock if it was such a problem...might need that parking lot for the lineup of guys
I picked up some stuff from Walmart on Saturday, and tested it out on Sunday under a full leather one piece. I was in it for upwards of five hours. It worked incredibly well.
For pants I got the Athletic Works long underwear ($14). For the top I have Everlast long sleeve compression shirt ($20).
Carmen, contrary to popular belief, long sleeves and pants actually keep you cooler if it is the right fabric for the job. The idea is to sweat and the evaporation process happening on the fabric actually cools down your skin. Different fabrics do different things, some "wick" sweat from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric, spreading it out over the surface which allows it to evaporate. Other fabric just breaths better, dissipate heat faster, and dry really quickly. The quicker the evaporation process, the cooler you feel. Here's an example, wash your hands in a public bathroom and put them under a hand drier, they feel cold at first even though the air coming out is hot.Would you still wear these long underwear under leather pants in the summer while touring?
