if its in/out or lake and back twice a year, rent a pickup from budget or uhaul. Its new, capable and who cares how your smoking the tires on the launch ramp. Or borrow one.
M26 has nice interior volume for a boat that size and a lot of versatility. Lots of them have low hours on the clock. They went out of production this year so they are holding value nicely (boat value, it means nothing). When your shopping consider getting a survey done unless you really know boats or take a guy along that knows boats (not a guy that has a 18ft bowrider at a cottage, he doesnt know boats) and on an M26 check the mast step, they are known to have had issues and the overall condition of the sails ( thats a 5k problem to fix) and the transom if it held more than a 50hp. Look at the bilge and stringers and make sure the ballast tanks never had an installation of ice.
