Just back with the new bits. It will be interesting to see if I just spent $360 to find out I need to pull the carbs.

On the upside, you probably never need to look at the ignition again. On smaller, cheaper motors like old Briggs, I would just drop in an electronic ignition so I didn't need to worry about points. I just wanted them to work when I pulled the cord with minimal fiddling.
