If you like fanny packs here is you dream ride.

For a city bike...fantastic! Didn't watch whole video...how much they want for it?

I could get to work, charge, and come home.

The stand up scooter ? No license or insurance. Full suspension system , disc brakes and run flat tires . From house to the grocery or LCBO , around the harbour , giddy up!

My hope ( expectation actually) , unless you meet a super cop , there will be zero enforcement on this , unless you get a speeding ticket , but a speed camera can’t get a plate , if you don’t have one ….

One of my coworkers did actually get pulled over on his "bicycle with a gas engine" contraptions. He was flying along at a speed which apparently attracted enough attention to justify the cops time - I think he said the bike would do north of 80. I don't doubt he was doing that either, in town.

Anyhow, I'm pretty sure he got dinged with no insurance and no plates on that experience.

Moral of the story, enforcement on run of the mill DUI bikes and the sort is indeed lax, but if you're going to be blasting along at 80 in a 50 zone, expect your heat score to go up.

We have one or two of the gas bike contraptions in our area , I can see how they would get tagged , they are geared fast and pretty two stroke loud . They look fun in a hill billy way . I think ( like anything) , if you didn’t do sixty in a thirty and surf sidewalks , stop at signs and traffic lights you’d maybe be ok on anything electric. Till you get stopped of course .
